There are many scenic and well-maintained bicycle paths in Trelleborg.
From your bicycle, you can discover many beautiful views of Trelleborg and its surroundings. Follow the coast or select one of the routes across the open fields of Söderslätt. The city of Trelleborg has an extensive network of bicycle paths and you can reach most attractions of the city by bike. There are also several signposted routes to follow which offer a wide range of experiences through varying nature. The routes mostly follow bicycle paths but also less trafficated roads on the countryside.
Sverigeleden (the "Sweden Route") starts in Trelleborg just outside the tourist office. It covers most of the country and all of its provinces except Gotland. The route is on public roads, mostly on asphalt, and is divided into a main route and a number of alternative routes. In Trelleborg Municipality, the route is mainly on bicycle paths. The route is created by the Swedish Bicycle Association.
Sydkustleden (the "South Coast Route") is the third national tourism bicycle route. It connects the first two national bicycle routes Kattegattsleden (Gothenburg-Helsingborg) and Sydostleden (Simrishamn-Växjö). Together they form 90 metric miles of continuous bicycle routes with high standard. Sydkustleden runs between: Simrishamn-Ystad-Trelleborg-Skanör/Falsterbo-Malmö-Landskrona-Helsingborg. Region Skåne is responsible for Sydkustleden.
The yellow route is created by the Swedish Transport Administration. It runs between Trelleborg, Svedala and Staffanstorp.
