The Skåneleden Trail is a long distance footpath through the beautiful countryside of Skåne. The Trail is over 1000 kilometres long and is divided into five separate trails, with total of 85 sections.

The Skåneleden Trail is approximately 1000km long and is divided up into five separate trails, with total of 85 sections. Some of the sections are connected in a way that makes it possible to do a circular walk.
Simple camp sites with shelters and a toilet are available along the trail network. There are also often other types of accommodation, such as youth hostels and B&Bs next to the Trail. The Skåneleden Trail is marked with orange markers in the field.
The recommended connections with buses and trains are given under each Trail and are visible on the maps for every specific sections. Here you can also search for connections from a starting point of your own choice.
The North- south trail:
From Hårsjö (just west of Vittsjö) in the north to Trelleborg in the south. This Trail takes you through dense Göinge woodlands, open savannah like environments and beautiful country estates.
Good connection points for those of you who do not want to walk the entire length of the Trail in one go are: Vittsjö, Hässleholm, Frostavallen, Hörby, Knivsåsen, Genarp, Malmö Bulltofta and Trelleborg. The stations and bus stops close to the recommended connection points are visible on the maps for each section. You can also search for connections from a starting point of your own choice.
